Description:	O objetivo deste trabalho foi averiguar a adaptabilidade e a estabilidade de cultivares de girassol quando avaliadas em diferentes ambientes do Nordeste brasileiro para fins de recomendação daquelas superiores. Os ensaios foram instalados no ano agrícola de 2010, nos municípios de Poço Redondo, Carira, Cel. João Sá, Frei Paulo e Umbaúba. Utilizou-se o delineamento experimental em blocos ao acaso, com quatro repetições dos dezenove tratamentos. Constatada a presença da interação cultivares x ambientes, estimaram-se ao parâmetros de adaptabilidade e estabilidade pelo modelo de Eberhart & Russell (1966). As cultivares NTO 2.0, M 734, BRSG 26, BRS 323 e BRS 322 mostraram os desvios da regressão semelhantes à unidade, evidenciando adaptabilidade ampla, constituindo-se, assim, em ótimas alternativas para exploração comercial nos diferentes ambientes. STABILITY OF SUNFLOWER CULTIVARS IN THE BRAZILIAN NORTHEAST: CROP 2010. The objective of this study was to investigate the adaptability and stability of sunflower cultivars when evaluated in different environments of the Brazilian Northeast. The essays were installed in the crop year 2010 in Poço Redondo, Carira, Frei Paulo and Umbaúba in Sergipe State; and Cel. João Sá in Bahia State. Verified the presence of cultivar x environment interaction,estimated to the adaptability and stability (model of Eberhart & Russell, 1966). The cultivars NTO 2.0, M 734, BRS G 26, BRS 323 and BRS 322 showed similar deviations from regression to the unity, showing ample adaptability and are great alternatives to commercial cropping in different environments.
