Autoria: ALVES, A. A. C.; PORCIÚNCULA, J. A. da; MARTINS JUNIOR, C. T.; SOUSA, D. R. de; SILVA, M. S. da; LOBO, R. N. B.
Conteúdo: Abstract: The aim of this study was to estimate genetic parameters for Santa Inês sheep’s weight during their birth (BW), weaning (WW), slaughter (SW) and at the age of one (W1). The data used in this study come from a flock which belongs to the company Gaasa Alimentos LTDA, located in Inhumás (a town in the Brazilian state of Goiás), and they are part of the Programme of Genetic Improvement of Goats and Sheep (GENECOC) managed by the company Embrapa Goats and Sheep. The parentage matrix used consisted of 13,440 animals.

Título: Effect of different cutting intensities on morphological characteristics and production of fresh and dry matter of irrigated Nopalea forage cactus.
Autoria: LIMA, G. F. da C.; RÊGO, M. M. T.; SILVA, J. G. M.; AGUIAR, E. M.; DANTAS, F. D. G.; GUEDES, F. X.; SILVA, G. J. A. M.; LOBO, R. N. B.
Conteúdo: The spineless cactus (Nopalea cochenillifera Salm Dick) is adapted to the Brazilian semi-arid region, because of its high efficiency in water use and forage production. On the other hand, in some regions of Rio Grande do Norte State, because of drought and high temperatures, mainly nocturnal, usually plants wilt. The use of drip irrigation with a minimum use of water may be an option for cactus pear cultivation in these regions. The research aimed to evaluate the effect of different cutting intensities on the morphological characteristics and production of fresh and dry matter of irrigated Nopalea forage cactus after 12 months of regrowth.

Título: Milk yield and composition of crossbred goats supplemented with vegetable oil.
Autoria: SOUZA, D. L.; MEDEIROS, A. N.; BOMFIM, M. A. D.; ARAUJO, M. J.; ALVES, A. R.; SABEDOT, M. A.; QUEIROGA, R. de C. R. E.
Conteúdo: The use of vegetable oils from native plants of the northeastern Semi-arid region in animal feeding can contributing not only for animal supplementation during periods of shortage but also for reforestation and, thus, collaborating with preservation and appreciation of the native vegetation, as well as the adapted exotic vegetation. The increase in the energy density of diets obtained with inclusion of lipids can have benefits such as reducing the negative effects of high amounts of concentrates rich in starch, on the rumen environment. The aim of this study was to evaluate the influence of faveleira, sesame and castor oils supplemented to milking goats on the yield and composition.

Título: Eficiência da adubação nitrogenada em "Megathyrsus maximus": impactos no crescimento radicular e teores de clorofila.
Autoria: PRADO, L. M.; LOPES, M. H. A.; SOUSA, A. A.; POMPEU, R. C. F. F.; SALLES, H. O.
