Título: Cow immunization with recombinant SARS-CoV-2 RBD induces high-avidity IgG in bovine colostrum and transitional milk.
Autoria: SOUZA, P. E. D. A.; PEIXOTO, L. L. T. D.; GASPAR, E. B.; BASTOS, A. P. A.; PRUDENCIO, C. R.; DOMINGUES, R.; GASPARI, E. de; MARTINS, M. F.; DIAVAO, J.; CAMPOS, M. M.; CARVALHO, W. A.
Conteúdo: COVID-19 continues to be a global health concern beyond the pandemic phase. Bovine colostrum, naturally enriched in immunoglobulins, particularly IgG, offers a promising platform for passive immunization against SARS-CoV-2. Immunization of cows in the final third of gestation can induce neutralizing antibodies secreted in both colostrum and transition milk which is produced between days 2 and 10 postpartum. The aim of this work was evaluate the avidity of anti-SARS-CoV-2 IgG in serum, colostrum and transition milk from Holstein cows immunized with recombinant RBD protein formulated with Alum-Inject® or Quil-A® adjuvants.

Conteúdo: The NIBDAF is a biocompatible immunomodulatory target-delivery system designed to enhance immune responses without inducing cytotoxicity (intellectual property protection in progress). The use of tick-derived immunogens encapsulated in NIBDAF is a promising strategy for modulating immune responses against Rhipicephalus microplus.

Título: Hyperimmune bovine colostrum as a source of anti-SARS-CoV-2 neutralizing antibodies.
Autoria: GASPAR, E. B.; BASTOS, A. P. A.; ORTS, D. J. B.; COSTA, H. H. M. da; HONORIO, N. N.; PRUDENCIO, C. R.; SILVA, L. P. da; BONATTO, C.; ADRIANI, P. P.; SOARES, G. O.; DOMINGUES, R.; GASPAR, E. Conteúdo: The global need for affordable and scalable immunoprophylaxis strategies against SARS-CoV-2 has renewed interest in bovine colostrum as a source of neutralizing antibodies. This study aimed to evaluate the immunogenicity and neutralizing capacity of colostrum from cows immunized with SARS-CoV-2 recombinant receptorbinding domain (RBD) proteins.

Autoria: CARVALHO, W. A.; BONATTO, C. C.; GASPAR, E. B.; BASTOS, A. P. A.; SOUZA, P. E. D. A.; HONORIO, N. N.; PRUDENCIO, C. R.; GASPARI, E. de; DOMINGUES, R.; DIAVAO, J.; CAMPOS, M. M.; MARTINS, M. F.; MACHADO, M. A.; BRANDAO, H. de M.; SILVA, L. P. da
Conteúdo: Hyperimmune bovine colostrum has emerged as a scalable and safe source of neutralizing antibodies for passive mucosal immunization. The quality and persistence of antibody responses are influenced by the choice of adjuvants. A phagocyte target delivery immunomodulatory nanosystem (NIBDAF; ongoing intellectual property protection) may potentiate both the magnitude and avidity of the antibody response.
