Description: Variability in nodulation and nitrogen fixation, as well as protein and genomic patterns, were studied before and after growing several generations of Rhizobium strs from Brazil at the highest temp. they were able to tolerate. Results showed that strains of R. leguminosarum bv. phaseoli and R. tropici were tolerant to high temp. and were also genetically stable..
