Description:	A Embrapa Pantanal (Corumbá-MS), Unidade da Empresa Brasileira de Pesquisa Agropecuária, dentre suas atribuições, apoia ações que promovam a sustentabilidade no Pantanal a partir da utilização de recursos naturais em benefício da sociedade em geral. Nesta unidade a prospecção de plantas medicinais, aromáticas, condimentares e ornamentais tem se fortalecido enquanto linha de pesquisa. Ações que contemplam a exploração sustentável dessas espécies, preconizando o enfoque agroecológico e em parceria com várias instituições. As ações de capacitação contemplaram os agricultores familiares, assentados, líderes de associações e comunidades nas cidades de Corumbá e Ladário - MS, incentivando a produção e a comercialização de plantas medicinais, aromáticas, condimentares e ornamentais, em sistemas de transição agroecológica. The Embrapa Pantanal (Corumba-MS), a Unit of the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation, among its objectives, supports actions that promote sustainability in Pantanal by use of natural resources for the benefit of the society in general. In this unit, the prospecting of medicinal, aromatic, condiments and ornamental plants is a strong line of research. Actions that take into account the sustainable exploitation of these species, in agroecological systems and in partnership with several institutions. The training actions contemplated the family farmers, land reform settlers, associations leaders and the community in the municipalities of Corumbá and Ladário- MS. The objective is encouraging the production and trade of medicinal, aromatic, spice and ornamental plants, in agroecologycal transition systems.
