dc.descriptionResumo: Avaliou-se a influência da substituição do farelo de soja (FS) pela torta de mamona destoxificada (TMD) sobre os parâmetros hepáticos de cabritas Saanen e Anglo-nubiana. Foram utilizadas três dietas, uma com à base de FS e as demais com TMD destoxificada por Ca(OH)2 e outra por NaOH. Houve efeito (P<0,05) das dietas sobre as enzimas hepáticas, porém sem alterações negativas que implicam disfunções hepatológicas. As TMD mostram-se bastante atrativas, podendo substituir integralmente o FS. [Hepatic functionality of goats kids Saanen and Anglo nubian fed with castor bean cake]. Abstract: The objective of this study was to evaluate the influence of the substitution of soybean meal (SM) by detoxified castor cake (DCC) on the parameters of hepatic goats kids Saanen and Anglo nubian. We used three diets, one with the base of SM and the other with DCC detoxified by Ca(OH)2 and another by NaOH. There was no effect (P<0.05) of diets on liver enzymes, but without negative changes that involve hepatological dysfunctions. The DCC are very attractive, and can fully replace the SM.pt_BR
