dc.descriptionPT-BR: Objetivou-se com este trabalho determinar experimentalmente o efeito que as impurezas exercem sobre as propriedades físicas de grãos de milho, soja e arroz em casca. Para isso, em amostras de grãos de milho, soja e arroz em casca completamente limpas foram adicionadas quantidades crescentes de impurezas até o teor máximo de 10%. Para cada intervalo de 1% de impurezas na massa de grãos foram determinadas a massa específica aparente, a porosidade, o ângulo de repouso, o teor de água e a diferença total de cor. Concluiu-se que, com exceção da diferença total de cor, o aumento do nível de impurezas na massa de grãos influencia as propriedades físicas dos produtos avaliados. | EN-US: This work aimed to experimentally determine physical properties of corn, soybean and rough rice, in function of the impurity contents in the grain mass. In the beginning of the experiment, corn, soybean and rough rice samples were cleaned. Increasing impurity contents were added until reaching 10%. The bulk density, porosity, angle of repouse, moisture content and color of the grains were determineted for each 1% range of impurity in grain mass. It was concluded that, except for the total color difference, the increase of impurity contents in the grain mass influences the products physical properties.pt_BR
