Description:	This chapter deals with the contributions of the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (Embrapa) to achieve target 15.5 of the Sustainable Development Goal 15 (SDG 15) (United Nations, 2018): "Take urgent and significant action to reduce the degradation of natural habitats, halt the loss of biodiversity and, by 2020, protect and prevent the extinction of threatened species.
