Most anthropic activities of a socioeconomic nature, including agriculture, agribusiness, tourism and many others which represent the livelihood of a large portion of the population that lives from activities carried out within the scope of rural and even urban and periurban areas, exert influence on ecosystem services, directly and indirectly, and their effects can be both potentially beneficial and limiting or harmful. In general, the productive sectors demand the use of natural resources and cause environmental impacts in different aspects and at different levels and, therefore, require inclusive and sustainable practices for their conservation. A first step in devising environmental conservation strategies and in achieving the maintenance of ecosystem services and their benefits is to know the situation of a given location and the interactions that are established between the anthropic activities carried out there, their possible impacts, the affected ecosystem services and the influence of this set of vectors on the environment. Considering this context, a survey of secondary data was carried out referring to an area located in the Atlantic Forest biome, currently occupied with population centers and family agricultural production in the surroundings of the Pedra Branca State Park, an Integral Protection Conservation Unit, inserted in the urban territory of the city from Rio de Janeiro. As a result, it was possible to compile a series of observed and potential impacts and the respective ecosystem services likely to be affected by them. The expressive amount of impacts and ecosystem services that could be identified evidenced the importance of knowing these interactions, aiming to avoid or mitigate their negative effects and increase their beneficial effects on the environment, thus allowing the performance of human activities in a sustainable way.
