Description:	A cafeicultura de Alta Floresta do Oeste representa 3,9 mil hectares (ha) ocupando somente 0,6 % da área total. Dos 3,7 mil imóveis rurais do Cadastro Ambiental Rural (CAR), 808 imóveis (25,7 %) se dedicam a cafeicultura sendo que 96% deles são pequenas propriedades (até 4,0 Módulos Fiscais). Grande parte da cafeicultura da região é manejada em propriedades com tamanho ainda mais reduzido de até 0,2 MF ou 12 ha e estas representam 939,1 ha ou 29,3% das propriedades cafeeiras. Outros usos agrícolas ocupam 2,8 mil ha, já as pastagens representam 304,8 mil ha ou 43,1% da área do município. As florestas nativas ocupam 383,1 mil ha (46,8%) muito devido a área preservada nas reservas indígenas. Os resultados obtidos auxiliam na compreensão do uso e cobertura da terra e contribuem para os tomadores de decisão na execução de políticas públicas para o município. Abstract: Coffee growing in Alta Floresta do Oeste represents 3.9 thousand hectares (ha), occupying only 0.6% of the total area. Of the 3.7 thousand rural properties in the Rural Environmental Registry (CAR), 808 properties (25.7%) are dedicated to coffee growing, 96% of which are small properties (up to 4.0 Fiscal Modules). Much of the region's coffee growing is managed on properties with an even smaller size of up to 0.2 MF or 12 ha and these represent 939.1 ha or 29.3% of coffee properties. Other agricultural uses occupy 2.8 thousand ha, while pastures represent 304.8 thousand ha or 43.1% of the municipality's area. Native forests occupy 383.1 thousand ha (46.8%), largely due to the area preserved in indigenous reserves. The results obtained help in understanding land use and coverage and contribute to decision makers in the implementation of public policies for the municipality.
