Description: This study aimed to characterize residual feed intake (RFI) in 27 Girolando heifers, classified into three feed efficiency groups—high (HE), medium (ME), and low (LE)—across the calf, growing (150 and 450 days), and first-lactation phases. RFI was evaluated during both the growth and lactation phases and across three lactation stages (early, middle, and late).
