Description: The fertility of TAI programs is a multifaceted trait influenced by both semen quality and individual female responses to synchronization protocols. Cows exhibiting estrus prior to TAI ovulated earlier, and had greater pregnancy per AI (P/AI) compared to those that do not. The objective of this study was to evaluate the relationship between estrus behavior of cows and the semen's cryopreservation extenders on the fertility of B. indicus cows subjected to timed artificial insemination (TAI).
