Fungi isolated from the basidiomes of Hymenochaetaceae are a promising source of hydrolytic enzymes and oxidases, which are of interest mainly due to the ease of obtaining these enzymes and their industrial applications. This study aims to detect the activity of amylases, cellulases, proteases, and oxidoreductases produced by fungi isolated from the basidiomes of Hymenochaetaceae, collected in the states of Acre and Amazonas, in the Amazon region, and to compare the enzymatic production obtained in specific and general culture media. We selected ten strains of fungi associated, which were subjected to molecular identification and subsequently cultivated in general culture medium (potato, dextrose and yeast extract) and in specific culture medium (Manachini solution with appropriate substrate for each enzyme). From the isolation of the basidiomes of Fomitiporia bambusarum, F. neotropica, Fuscoporia gilvus, Hymenochaete damicornis and Phylloporia spathulata, we obtained fungicolous fungi capable of producing amylases, cellulases and proteases, with the exception of oxidoreductases, for which only five strains produced this enzyme. Both of the culture media were effective; however, the Manachini solution with specific substrates produced between 3 to 60% more enzymes. Fungi isolated from Hymenochaetaceae species have great potential for the production of enzymes of biotechnological interest.
