Descripción:	The objectives of the present study are to evaluate the current agroindustrial system - AIS, in a representative region of the Northeastern Brazil, and propose strategic actions to improve the AIS at macauba value chain. The framework used to analyze the AIS includes data gathering from field interviews and direct observations.
