dc.descriptionThis bibliometric study analyzed the evolution of cassava (Manihot esculenta) genetic research between 1960 and 2022, using 654 articles from the Web of Science to map trends in publication, authorship, and methodologies. Scientific production increased significantly after 1993, with Brazil as the leading country. The methodology revealed that microsatellite markers were the most common approach, and the areas of Genomics and Transcriptomics were the most explored, supporting the improvement and conservation of the crop.
