dc.descriptionArAV1, a novel ampelovirus in forage peanut, has a typical genome (7 ORFs, 12,940 nt), but its key proteins (HSP70h, RdRp, CP) have <75% identity with others. Phylogenetically related to pineapple wilt virus, it is proposed as a new species: Ampelovirus arachii.
