dc.descriptionResumo: Estudos envolvendo as áreas de biologia molecular e reprodutiva têm aumentado com os avanços na proteômica animal. Identificar proteínas espermáticas proporcionará um maior entendimento dessas moléculas e sua modulação com o plasma seminal. Portanto, o objetivo do presente estudo é sugerir marcadores biomoleculares nos espermatozóides e relacioná-los com os parâmetros espermáticos nos períodos seco e chuvoso. O experimento foi realizado na Embrapa Caprinos e Ovinos, utilizando-se quatro machos da raça Morada Nova. O sêmen foi colhido e analisado quanto aos parâmetros espermáticos, e em seguida, centrifugado para separar os espermatozoides do plasma seminal. A identificação das bandas proteicas foi realizada por eletroforese unidimensional SDS-PAGE. Os dados do espermograma e as proteínas totais foram submetidos à análise de variância. Houve diferença significativa para a concentração espermática, apresentando no período seco uma maior concentração. Durante o período chuvoso foram identificadas as bandas com maiores concentrações: 22 e 24 kDa, e as de menores concentrações: 87 e 104 kDa. No período seco foram identificadas bandas com maiores concentrações: 30 e 39 kDa, e menores concentrações: 25 e 50 kDa. Alguns biomarcadores moleculares nos espermatozóides foram relatados, nos permitindo conhecer a distribuição e variação do peso molecular das bandas protéicas. Abstract: Studies involving the areas of molecular biology and reproductive health have increased with advances in proteomics animal. Identify sperm proteins will give us a greater understanding of these cells and their modulation with seminal plasma, aiming to the present study suggest molecular markers in spermatozoa and relate them with sperm parameters during dry and rainy. The experiment was carried out at Embrapa Caprinos e Ovinos, four males were used Morada Nova. The semen was collected and analyzed for sperm parameters, following washing protocol to obtain the protein. The bands identification was performed by one-dimensional SDS-PAGE electrophoresis. The data of sperm concentration and total protein were subjected to analysis of variance. There was a significant difference for sperm concentration, showing it increased in the dry period. During the rainy season were identified bands with higher concentration: 22 and 24 kDa, and those with lower concentrations: 87 and 104 kDa. During the dry period were identified bands with higher concentration: 30 and 39 kDa, and minor concentration: 25 and 50 kDa. Some molecular biomarkers have been reported in sperm, allowing us to understand the distribution and variation of the molecular weight of protein bands.
