dc.descriptionLong COVID is a chronic condition that may develop after SARS-CoV-2 infection. Symptoms range from mild to severe, including respiratory, neurological and thrombotic complications, and lasting weeks, months or years. Long-term effects could result in disabilities, and to understand the mechanisms underlying the development of long COVID is necessary. Studies demonstrate that platelets can modulate lymphocyte function, acting as important regulators of the immune system. The aim of this study is to analyze platelet-lymphocyte interaction in Long COVID patients with cognitive impairment.
