Description:	This paper presents the soil-pasturc relationships in lhe county of Uruará, Pará state, located at the Transamazônica highway. lt uses the data obtained in Brachiaria brizantha cv Marandu pastures . A correlation linear anaJysis among several factors of Ultisol and matter dry production of Marandu (Brachiaria brizanthay was done , showings r2 values and respective p values. lt seems that there is an interaction among the soil porosity and pasture productivity probably to due to the root plant respiration. The relationship among pasture productivity and chemical parameters is not evident but there is some connection with the exchangeable aluminum
