dc.descriptionResumo: Objetivou-se com este estudo a determinagdo com os valores absolutos do leucograma de caprinos da raga Canindé. criados no semi-irido Cearense. no periodo seco ¢ chuvoso. No estudo foram utilizados 13 caprinos. provenientes da Embrapa Caprinos. sendo cinco machos ¢ dez femeas. com faixa ctaria entre 1 ano ¢ 'z a 3 anos ¢ apresentavam escore corporal entre 1.75 a 3.0. escolhidos aleatoriamente ¢ avaliados quanto 4 condiao de higidez, procedendo-se a um exam clinico geral. As colheitas foram realizadas no periodo da manhi (das 8 horas ds 10 horas), nos meses de abril ¢ setembro de 2007. As amostras de sangue para o leucograma foram colhidas através de pungdo da veia jugular utilizando-se tubo vacutainer® com anticoagulante. a contagem de leucdcitos totais foi real camara de Neubauer® e¢ a diferencial com esfregago sanguineo corado pela técnica de Giemsa. A diferenga minima significativa foi calculada pelo teste “t™ de Student (p < 0.05). Os valores absolutos dos Jeucocitos totais. bastdes e cosindfilos, tanto para fémeas como para machos nos dois periodos estavam acima do normal. Quando os periodos foram comparados observou-se que houve diferenga significativa entre os segmentados. mondcitos ¢ cosindfilos, também houve diferenca significativa entre os mondcitos quando os machos ¢ fémeas foram comparados em relagao ao periodo seco. Abstract: The objective this to study was determination of absolute values of the leukogram of the breed of goats Canindé. created in semi-arid Cearense. during dry the Embrapa Goats. five males and ten females. aged | year and to 3 2 years and. had scoring body between 1.75 to 3.0. chosen randomly and was evaluated the condition of health, through clinic exam. The samples were carried during the morning (8 to 10 hours). in the months of april and september 2007 Samples of blood were collected for the leukogram through the puncture jugular vein using a whe wtainer® with anticoagulant, the count total white blood cell was with help of camera Neubauer® and to count differential, smears blood were colorful with technique by Giemsa. The significant difference was calculated by the test "t" Student (p 0.05). The total leukocytes, eosinophils and young newtrophils. both for females and for males in the two periods were above normal. When the periods were compared. it was observed that there were significant differences between, monocytes and cosinophils, there was also a significant difference between the monocytes when the males and females were compared with the period dry and rainypor
