Descripción:	RESUMO - Objetivou-se com este trabalho avaliar a dinâmica e a densidade populacional de P. brachyurus (Pb) nos sistemas radiculares de soja perene, guandu, estilosantes Bela e estilosantes Campo Grande, cultivados em consórcio com milho e solteiros. As amostragens foram realizadas em dois experimentos implantados na Embrapa Gado de Corte, Campo Grande/MS, em duas épocas de plantio, safrinha 2010 (E1) e safra 2010/11(E2). Posteriormente, as raízes coletadas foram processadas e os espécimes de Pb obtidos foram quantificados. Em E1 foi verificada a presença de Pb, tanto no milho quanto nas leguminosas. No entanto, nas raízes do milho, observaram-se as maiores médias, que variaram de 3448 - 656 nematoides/g de raiz. Quanto às leguminosas forrageiras em consórcio, pelo teste de Duncan (P<0,05), houve diferença populacional do referido nematoide, tendo a soja perene apresentado à maior média de nematoides/g de raiz (82,84), seguida por guandu (29,57), Estilosantes Bela (16,71) e Estilosantes Campo Grande (6,02). No experimento E2, embora tenha havido diferença (P<0,05) entre as médias de Pb, estas foram menores que as observadas em E1 para todas as leguminosas testadas. Por meio destes resultados, foi possível concluir que dentre as espécies vegetais avaliadas, o milho apresentou maior suscetibilidade a Pb, inclusive favorecendo o aumento dos níveis populacionais do patógeno no solo. ABSTRACT - The aim of this work was to assess the dynamics and population density of P. brachyurus (Pb) in the root systems of perennial soybean, pigeon pea, estilosantes Bela and estilosantes Campo Grande, grown intercropped with maize and singles. The study were made in two experiments at Embrapa Beef Cattle, Campo Grande, in two planting seasons, small crop in 2010 (E1) and the 2010/11 crop (E2). The roots were processed and collected specimens of Pb obtained were quantified. The trial E1 was detected the presence of Pb in both corn and forage legumes. However, in corn roots, were observed the highest averages, which ranged from 3448 - 656 nematodes / g root. As for legumes in intercropping, by Duncan test (P <0.05), there was difference in the nematode population, and the perennial soybean presented the highest average number of nematodes / g root (82.84), followed by pigeon pea (29.57), Estilosantes Bela (16.71) and Estilosantes Campo Grande (6.02). In experiment E2, although there were differences (P <0.05) between averages of Pb, they were lower than those observed in E1 for all legumes tested. Through these results, concludes that among the plant species studied, the corn had higher susceptibility to Pb, including favoring the increase in population levels of the pathogen in soil.
