Description:	RESUMO: Os povos indígenas Avá-Guarani, do extremo oeste paranaense, são marcados historicamente e continuam a sofrer constantes ataques em várias dimensões, especialmente na cultura, produção de artefatos e tradições alimentares. O objetivo deste estudo consiste em compreender os elementos que envolvem a alimentação dos indígenas Avá-Guarani de Guaíra e Terra Roxa – Paraná. A fundamentação teórica se pauta no perspectivismo de Viveiros de Castro para o aprofundamento da complexidade de vida indígena abordando a história, violências sofridas e o modo alimentar. A metodologia é qualitativa, com alinhamento ontológico entre natureza e cultura, desenvolvido a partir de entrevistas e observação em setembro de 2023. Os resultados são apresentados em três eixos: a terra, a agência e o espírito sagrado. A alimentação dos povos tradicionais possui peculiaridades culturais, as quais têm relações com a terra e com a importância da preservação de suas tradições e conhecimentos ancestrais. As contribuições práticas apontam elementos de degradação dos recursos naturais que interferem no sagrado Avá-Guarani, que serão superados com a implementação de políticas sociais regulamentadoras, por meio da demarcação do território. ABSTRACT: The Avá-Guarani indigenous peoples of the far west of Paraná are historically marked and continue to suffer constant attacks in various dimensions, especially in terms of their culture and food traditions.The aim of this study is to understand the elements involved in the diet of the Avá-Guarani indigenous people of Guaíra and Terra Roxa - Paraná. The theoretical foundation is based on Viveiros de Castro's perspectivism to delve into the complexity of indigenous life, addressing history, the violence suffered and the way they eat. The methodology is qualitative, with an ontological alignment between nature and culture, developed through interviews and observation in September 2023. The results are presented along three axes: the land, agency and the sacred spirit. The food of traditional peoples has cultural peculiarities, which have to do with the land and the importance of preserving their traditions and ancestral knowledge. The practical contributions point to elements of natural resource degradation that interfere with the sacred Avá- Guarani, which will be overcome with the implementation of regulatory social policies, through the demarcation of the territory.
