Description: the objective of this study was to investigate the genetic diversity and the population structure of jatropha accessions found in the oldest germplasm collection in Brazil using molecular markers. A combination of SSRs and ISSRs will be used in this study. The genetic information obtained is of great importance to support future genetic improvement programs of jatropha in Brazil.
