Description:	Resumo: Avaliou-se a influência da substituição do farelo de soja (FS) pela torta de mamona destoxificada (TMD) sobre o comportamento ingestivo de cabritas Saanen e Anglo-nubiana. Foram utilizadas três dietas, uma à base de FS e as demais com TMD destoxificada por Ca(OH)2 e outra por NaOH. Houve efeito (P<0,05) das dietas sobre o consumo de MS, FDNcp e nos tempos de alimentação e ruminação. A TMD, independente do produto alcalino, influencia a etologia ingestiva de cabritas em confinamento. [Ingestive behaviour goats kids fed diets containing detoxified castor cake]. Abstract: The objective of this study was to evaluate the influence of the substitution of soybean meal (SM) by detoxified castor cake (DCC) on the ingestive behavior of goats kids Saanen and Anglo-nubian. We used three diets, one with the base of SM and the other with DCC detoxified by Ca(OH)2 and another by NaOH. There was no effect (P<0.05) of diets on the DM intake, NDFap and in times of feeding and rumination. The DCC, regardless of the product alkaline, influences the ethology intake de goats kids in confinement.
