Conteúdo:	Objetiva-se através deste trabalho apresentar de forma sucinta a evolução das áreas de conhecimento inerentes a atuação em geotecnologias e sua importância sócio-econômica no contexto nacional. Ao mesmo tempo levantar subsídios para amparar a discussão e a reflexão de conceitos envolvendo a temática educativa e sua relação com os profissionais formados em diferentes níveis nas áreas de geotecnologias; subsidiando ainda as diferentes interpretações do contexto dos educadores frente aos conceitos e aplicações da teoria e prática em sala de aula e sua relação com o perfil dos profissionais oriundos das instituições de ensino em geotecnologias. The present paper objective presenting of the evolution of the inherent topics of knowledge the working in geotechnology and its partner-economic importance in the national context. At the same time to raise subsidies to support the quarrel and the reflection of concepts being involved thematic educative and the its relation with the professionals formed in different levels in the areas of geotechnology. subsidizing still the different interpretations of the context of the educators front to the concepts and applications of the practical theory and in classroom and its relation with the profile of the deriving professionals of the institutions of education in geotechnology.
