Description: Models based on surface temperature have been promising for predicting evapotranspiration. This study aimed to evaluate the DATTUTDUT model in predicting the evapotranspiration of cowpea BRS-Inhuma using images from a portable thermal camera. The research was conducted between September and October 2022 at the Embrapa Meio-Norte experimental station in Teresina, Piauí state, Brazil. Cowpea evapotranspiration was measured on hourly and daily scales using three weighing lysimeters. Thermal images were acquired 19, 26, 29, 37, 43, and 57 days after sowing.
