Description: Sensor technologies have gained traction in dairy farming, but remain underutilized during the calf pre-weaning phase. The objective of this study was to evaluate the correlation between sensor-derived variables (rumination time and activity index) and traditional performance metrics (average daily gain, morphometric measurements height at withers (HW), Chest Circumference (CC), Rump Length (RL), and Rump Height (RH) in pre-weaning dairy calves.
