Description:	Resumo: O trabalho foi conduzido com objetivo de avaliar o consumo de nutrientes de ovelhas lactando um ou dois cordeiros em confinamento. Foram utilizadas 16 ovelhas multíparas provenientes do cruzamento alternado entre as raças Texel e Ile de France, sendo oito paridas de cordeiros duplos e oito de partos simples. Os animais (ovelha + cordeiro(s)) foram alojados em baias individuais imediatamente após o parto. As ovelhas foram alimentadas ad libitum, sendo a quantidade fornecida ajustada diariamente de modo a manter as sobras em 10% do total fornecido. O alimento fornecido e suas respectivas sobras foram pesados diariamente para determinação do consumo de nutrientes das ovelhas. Os resultados demonstraram igualdade (P>0,05) no consumo de nutrientes entre os tratamentos. Abstract: The study was conducted to evaluate the nutrient intake of lactating ewes and two lambs in a feedlot. Sixteen multiparous ewes from an alternate crossing between Texel and Ile de France breeds were used, eight ewes supported single lambs, and the others supported twin lambs. Animals (ewe + lambs) were allocated in individual stalls immediately after parturition. The ewes were fed ad libitum, and the quantity supplied adjusted daily to keep the remains in 10% of the total provided. The diet and their remains were weighed daily to determine the nutrient intake of the sheep. The results showed equal (P>0,05) nutrient intake between treatments.
