dc.descriptionIn vitro maturation (IVM) success in bovine oocytes is critically limited by intrinsic developmental competence. Modulation of cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) signaling pathways has emerged as a promising approach to enhance oocyte quality. This study aimed to evaluate the molecular effects of prematuration using cAMP modulators during IVM in a simulated physiological oocyte maturation (SPOM) system, assessing competence through gene expression analysis. Oocytes were matured in vitro using TCM-199 medium supplemented with 10% fetal bovine serum (FBS). The treatment group was exposed initially to 100 µM forskolin and 750 µM IBMX for 2 hours, then transferred to a basal medium containing 20 µM cilostamide for up to 28 hours.
