Descripción: Chlorogenicacid(CGA) isoneof themostcommonpolyphenols foundin manyfruits, suchascoffeecherries,andisamongthemosteconomical commoditiesworldwide. Incoffeeproduction,processingandwashing requirelargeamountsofwater,makingwastewatermonitoringessential to preventenvironmental impact.Thisworkreportsthedevelopmentofa fluorescence-basedhybridsensordesignedforthedetectionofCGAusing water-solubleporphyrins immobilizedonhierarchicalLTAzeolite.Thesystem isbasedon5,10,15,20-tetrakis(N-methyl-4-pyridyl)porphyrin(TMPyP)andits Zn(II)-metallatedderivative(ZnTMPyP), synthesizeddirectlyonthezeolite surfaceviaion-exchangeprocesses.Thehybridmaterials(LTA/TMPyPand Zn-LTA/TMPyP)werefullycharacterized, confirmingthepreservationof the zeolitestructureandtheformationof themetalloporphyrincomplexwithin theintercrystallinevoidnetwork.Fluorescencemeasurements inphosphate buffer(pH7.4)showedthatZn-LTA/TMPyPexhibitedthebestperformance forCGAdetection,withadetectionlimit(LOD)of0.22nM.Tomitigate potential interferencefromcaffeineandcaffeicacid,anovel sensingprotocol was implementedusingthesecompoundsasacontrolledbackground, maintaininghighsensitivity(LOD=0.64nmolL-1).Whentestedinreal coffeewashingwater, thesensorquantifiedCGAat2.5 0.7nmolL-1.The measurementaccuracywasvalidatedusinganonlinearstandardaddition method, yieldingarecoveryof96.4%, confirmingthesensor’sabilityto compensateforcomplexmatrixeffects.TheresultsshowthattheZn LTA/TMPyPhybridmaterial isahighlyefficient, stable,andselective platformforCGAmonitoring,withstrongpotential for integrationinto portabledevices forenvironmentalandagro-industrialapplications.
