Description:	RESUMO - O objetivo deste estudo foi avaliar a divergência genética, entre 33 reprodutores da raça Nelore com sêmen disponíveis em Centrais de Inseminação, com base nas diferenças esperadas em suas progênies com relação a caracteres ponderais e reprodutivos, através de técnicas de análise multivariada. Medidas de dissimilaridade foram obtidas através das distâncias Euclidianas médias padronizadas, sendo a maior dissimilaridade entre os touros com distância de 2,5840 e a maior similaridade entre os progenitores com valor estimado de 0,3423 de distância. Dez grupos de reprodutores como mesmo padrão de similaridade foram obtidos por técnica de agrupamento, com quatro touros divergentes em relação aos demais. Escores dos componentes principais foram estimados, para se obter gráficos de dispersão, que possibilitaram a avaliação visual da divergência genética e do padrão de dissimilaridades entre os materiais estudados. Dos componentes principais que explicaram a maior parte da variância total, o primeiro explicou 30,33%, o segundo respondeu por 24,09% e o terceiro por 16,75% da variância. As estimativas de divergência genética encontrada permitem definir progenitores que podem produzir ganhos significativos em função dos efeitos heteróticos oriundos de acasalamentos entre suas progênies. ABSTRACT - The objective of this study was to evaluate the genetic divergence, among 33 Nellores bulls with available semen in Headquarters of Insemination, based in the expected differences in their progenies regarding development and reproductive characteristics, through techniques of multivariate analysis. Dissimilar measures were obtained through the Euclidian distances standardized averages, being the largest dissimilar among the bulls with distance of 2.5840 and the largest similarity among the progenitors with dear value of 0.3423 of distance. Ten groups of reproductive as same similarity pattern were obtained by grouping technique, with four divergent bulls in relation to the others. Scores of the main components were dear, to obtain dispersion graphs, that made possible the visual evaluation of the genetic divergence and of the dissimilar pattern among the studied materials. Of the principal components that explained most of the total variance, the first explained 30.33%, the second answered for 24.09% and the third for 16.75% of the variance. The estimates of found genetic divergence allow to define progenitors that can produce won significant in function of the heterotics effects originating from of matings among their progenies
