Description: The purpose of this work was to compare the salinity and sodium risk levels in the soil, under irrigation condition, with another one, in an tmdisturbed land (MN) sited at Irrigated Perimeter of Forquilha, Ceara, Brazil. Soil was sampled each two month, from Jan/2003 to Sept/2005, in the depths of O-0.30; 0.30-0.60; 0.60-0.90 and 0.90-1.20 111 in sites under irrigation condition and undisturbed land (MN) respectively. The appraised area was cultivated with beans, and the water requirement was applied by furrow irrigation The irrigation water is classified as C15,. The total rainfall was not enough to leaching the total salts added due to irrigation management. The highest Electrical Conductivities (EC) and Sodium Adsorption Rate (SAR) increments, 600% and 225% respectively, were registered in deeper layers during dry season Although increment rates were high, EC and SAR showed values bellower than salinity and sodium risk limits. During wet season, the SAR values are equal to those reached in undisturbed land, while EC, always, presented values upper to those one registered in undisturbed land.
