Descripción:	Abstract: Pasture areas in the Cerrado biome are highly relevant to the rational use of natural resources in order to achieve economic and environmental sustainability. In this context, remote sensing techniques have been essential for obtaining information relevant to the assessment of vegetation conditions on a large scale. This study aimed at mapping indications of degradation processes of planted pastures in the Cerrado Biome using NDVI time series from SPOT Vegetation sensor (VGT-S10) for the years 2006 to 2011. The results indicate that approximately 24% of planted pastures have some indication of degradation process. However, if pastures in stable conditions are included, then 35% pastures in the Biome shows signs of degradation. Furthermore, it was found that the states of Mato Grosso, Minas Gerais, Mato Grosso do Sul and Goiás concentrate about 80% of degraded planted pastures in the Cerrado biome. O objetivo foi realizar o mapeamento apresentando o indicativo de pastagens plantadas em processo de degradação no bioma Cerrado a partir de séries temporais de NDVI do sensor SPOT Vegetation.
