Description: The purpose of this concept paper is to lay the groundwork for a proposal to develop methods for evaluating sustainability of natural resource use in the countries of the Southern Cone, carry out these evaluations, and suggest opportunities for change in methodology and operating procedures of the Agricultural Research Centers within these six countries. The proposed project will involve researchers from the Southern Cone countries and researches from U.S. Universities as part of the GREAN Initiative.
