Description: The backcrosses of dihaploid Solanum tuberosum with wild species hybrids generating tetraploids progenies require the formation of non-reduced pollen. In this work, the mechanisms responsible for the formation of 2n pollen in 28 dihaploid Solanum tuberosum x Solanum chacoense hybrids were studied.
