Description:	Seis espécies de fitonematóides foram identificadas nas seguintes freqüências de ocorrência nas57 amostras coletadas de sete localidades no estado do Acre dos quais 15 das touceiras doentes; 20 decada em declínio e sadias: Aphelenchoides sp. (100%), Ditylenchus sp. (95%), Pratylenchus zeae (63%),Helicotylenchus dihystera (21%), Meloidogyne sp. (7%) e Criconemella sp. (3,5%). Em geral, asdensidades populacionais de fitonematóides foram muito baixas em todas as amostras. Duas espécies denematóides micófagos e sua freqüências de ocorrências nas amostras foram: Aphelenchus avenae (100%)e Tylenchus sp. (100%) além de nematóides de vida livre (100%). Six species of plant parasitic nematodes in their frequencies of ocurrence (Aphelenchoides sp. (100%),Ditylenchus sp. (100%), Pratylenchus zeae (63%), Helicotylenchus dihystera (21%), Criconemella sp.(3.5%), and Meloidogyne sp. (7%), were encountered in 57 samples collected from seven sites in the Stateof Acre, of which 15 from dead; 20 each from declining and healthy Brachiaria brizantha cv. Marandugrass stumps and 2 samples from Panicum maximum and Pueraria phaseoloides. In general, thepopulation densities of nematodes in samples were extremely low in all the samples. Two species ofmycophagous nematodes (Aphelenchus avenae (100%) and Tylenchus sp. (100%), besides free-livingnematodes were also found in these samples.
