Description: In this work, we describe the development of a pasture reclamation strategy, based in plant succession, wich is now helping hundreds of farmers to reclaim degraded marandugrass pastures in the Western Brazilian Amazon. Researchers viewed this kind of plant succession as an excellent opportunity to reclaim degraded monocultures of marandugrass pastures in the Western Brazilian Amazon.
