Description:	Resumo: Determinou-se o custo de producao para o semen caprino congelado pela Central de Inseminacao Artificial da EMBRAPA-CNPC. Apesar da elevada participacao dos custos fixos (59,09%) no custo final, o valor auferido por dose produzida foi considerado baixo, atingindo US$ 0,937. Tal fato permite inferir que o preco final de comercializacao atingira valor competitivo, tanto no mercado interno, quanto no externo. It has been determined the production costs of semen frozen from goats obtained at The Artificial Insemination Laboratory of EMBRAPA-CNPC. In despite of the high contribution of invariable costs (59.09%) into final costs, the total value obtained was low and reached US$ 0.937 per dose. This implies that the final prices established for marketing will reach a competitive level in both markets, national and international.
