Description:	Este trabalho teve por objetivo averiguar a adaptabilidade e a estabilidade de cultivares de girassol de final de primeiro ano para fins de recomendação no Nordeste brasileiro. Os ensaios foram realizados em nove ambientes dessa ampla região no ano agrícola de 2010, utilizando-se o delineamento experimental em blocos ao acaso com quatro repetições dos dezenove tratamentos. Constatada a significância da interação cultivares x ambientes estimaram-se os parâmetros de adaptabilidade e estabilidade. Considerando as sete cultivares que apresentaram melhor adaptação (b>média geral), apenas as GNZ CIRO e GNZ NEON mostraram-se pouco exigentes em condições desfavoráveis, sugerindo a recomendação destes materiais para este tipo de ambiente. As quatro cultivares restantes desse grupo de melhor adaptação mostraram-se exigentes nas condições desfavoráveis, sugerindo suas recomendações para as condições favoráveis de ambientes. STABILITY OF SUNFLOWER CULTIVARS OF FINAL ESSAY OF FIRST YEAR IN NORTHEAST BRAZIL: HARVEST 2010. This study was carried out to determining the adaptability and stability of sunflower cultivars essay of the first year to recommendation in Brazil Northeast region. The essays were conducted in nine environments this region in 2010. There was significance of cultivar x environment interaction estimate the parameters of adaptability and stability. Considering the seven cultivars that had better adaptation (b> general average), only the cultivars GNZ CIRO and GNZ NEON showed to be uncritical in unfavorable conditions, suggesting the recommendations of these materials to this kind of environment. The four remaining cultivars of this group showed better adaptation to conditions unfavorable and are indicated for conditions of favorable environments.
