Description: Passiflora tenuifila Killip is a wild passion fruit, also known as garlic passion fruit. This study aimed evaluates the composition, fibers, total polyphenols and the antioxidant capacity of the P. tenuifila, and the antiproliferative activity in tumor cells. P. tenuifila were cleaned and all fruit (peel, pulp and seed) mixed in a blender with water (1:1,5), then stored at -18°C prior to the analyses. For the antiproliferative activity, it was lyophilized. The analyses were performed in triplicate: composition (moisture, ash, protein, carbohydrates and lipids), pH, titratable acidity, dietary fiber, total polyphenols and total antioxidant activity by ABTS and FRAP methods.
