Description: From 2009 to 2012, a Brazilian study investigated viruses in pepper crops. Potyviruses (PepYMV and PVY) were the most common, reaching 100% incidence in some areas, followed by tospoviruses (GRSV, TCSV, and TSWV). The study highlights the importance of controlling these viral diseases, which impact pepper cultivation.
