Conteúdo: | A study was conducted to determine the effect of glucose on C mineraliztion from soils with different origins at elevated temperature. Soils from Northern Europe showed higher mineralization rate than Brazilian soils for recent energy source at 35oC. At 15oC as incubation temperature, there ws no difference between soils. The addition of glucose tosoil accelerated the turnover of native organic C. That acceleration was higher at 35oC and in soils from temperate regions. Only the pH and total soil organic carbon had significant influence on CO2 mineralization parameters. No significance was found to C/N ratio and clay content. |
